Saturday was a great day for Tyler Moore, as Moore struck out eight batters to carry the Roswell Invaders (27-24) to an 11-1 victory over the Las Cruces Vaqueros (15-36) at Joe Bauman Park.
The Roswell Invaders blew out the Las Cruces Vaqueros thanks to 14 hits, including zero extra base hits. The Roswell Invaders scored five runs in the fourth on the Roswell Invaders scored in the fourth on a two-run single by Michael Morris, a two-run double by Danny Grauer, and a groundout by Aaron Carman.
Grauer racked up three RBIs on three hits for the Roswell Invaders.
Kyle Cross was charged with his seventh loss of the year. He allowed 10 runs in five innings, walked three and struck out six.
